On today's blog post I will be showing diverse ways on how to style a bump- formal style featuring one top and three skirts.
A skirt is one of the most practical pieces of clothing during pregnancy, especially one that comes with an elastic waist as it fits over the bump comfortably. If you are pregnant and wondering how to style your skirts for formal events, hold on to see the diverse ways I styled my skirts while I was still bumping during this series.
For this look I decided to style this Vintage Cream Blouse from SimplyStyleByJ Vintage Shop on Etsy. I love love this vintage blouse, from the style to how it feels on the skin and so on... Clink on the link to shop unique pieces from her Etsy Shop!
I paired this vintage cream blouse with an high-waisted floral midi skirt that I got from Old Navy. This skirt came with a matching scrunchy which I unraveled to use as a scarf around my neck for the vintage style that I was going for.
I could not find exact skirt but linked similar HERE.
For accessories, I paired the outfit with some dangling red gold-plated earrings and red pumps. These pumps are very sturdy and comfortable. It was a great thrift find from my local Uptown Cheapskate. but originally a Call It Spring Pair.
You do not really need to head to the maternity wear section and buy new skirts. If the skirts you have already in your closet has elastic waists, just pull them over your bump as I did, and voila!!! Or have them below your belly in order not to feel uncomfortable.
